Your Light shines all around Lord

As we go about our day
Help us to kneel and pray
Your light shines all around Lord

Keep us close to Thee

Help us all to see

The light that shines so free
Your light shines all around Lord
So close and so near

Help this light to take the fear
Your light shines all around Lord

We see you in the small things

Help us to grow and spread our wings

Your light shines all around Lord

Keep us brave, help us to conquer

all the pain, help us gain the light

that shines in you.

Morning Sounds/New Poem

I woke to the sounds of nature singing birds say a lot they stay so happy in long days of light
God made them to not give up the fight.

The Trees leaves blow in the breeze so much like a whisper as I get out of bed I hear nature waking as my morning goes by creation made by God’s hand only love shows in the creatures He made and glistening sun shines down below,

 

His hand helps us stand in control. Sounds of singing birds alive O Lord how you made them to strive.

Grass and flowers blow in the breeze a faint odor of flowers keeps me alive.

Praise and Worship inside my heart  your love flows so deep with in keep me shining for all to see your love in me and the trees.

The River Wild

Weeping willow, over the river.

raging flood so bright and flowing.

God’s love shows in the river wild

The river wild, so cold and so beautiful

animals depend on it staying wild.

O river wild treading so fast

over flow your love

into our hearts and our past.

God is the creator of all the wild things

that come and live in the river wild.

I feel a hunger

I feel a hunger deep inside my soul

to touch your hands and let you take control

your face I desire to see,

your touch I long to feel,

to hear your voice so deep within

I try to reach to take a step,

fear takes hold and it seems to dark,

I feel a hunger deep inside my soul
I want to hear your voice within

I want the darkness to fold away,

I want this step to be the last,

I need your touch to not surpass,

I hold onto your words today

what I read I let sink in

but then the world trys to end my deepest desire

the one that I long to hold onto

your voice deep within,

I long for the day you do return

to take me home way up in heaven

to worship you in endless days,

to shower you in praise and song,

never let me go I pray,

make me strong my Lord today.

Sunny days,stormy nights

Sunny days,stormy nights

Help the shadows take flight

Calling out beneath the pain

Seeking help through summers rain.

Falling far,to deep to take a breath

Hoping your love holds on

Hoping the shadows fall away

Wondering why this life is so much pain.

Calling out one more time

Even now I need your joy

Hold me now and never let go

Help me to stand on your Love

Keep it raining from far above.
